Music for meditations on a winter's dusk: memories of Santa Cruz sunsets, originally recorded in 2006 under another name, distilled into a new arrangement in December 2023.

"Dusk's Blossom" is a gradually morphing soft-noise / drone sculpture which evolves through hardcore minimalist trompe-l'oeil dub-tech grooves and glimmering harmonic-extension sheets of tonal drone, all wrapped in a modulating sea-haze of field recordings evocative of that glorious hour when the sun's light is no longer so crassly direct, but graciously reflected through atmosphere and across textured surfaces, imperceptibly blueing into darkness.

This one might appeal to you if you enjoy Rod Modell's more abstract works such as Shibuya Hypnagogia, Mediterranea, and Cocoon, or perhaps something like a softer and groovier reimagining of Tim Hecker, or maybe a long-form mutation of Blamstrain's Disfold.
